Basically we're not showing a login box at all if you've got home.html - there should be a login link in th nav bar. The worst that could happen is that it destroys the universe. Not a big deal. More likely you could end up with a bunch of imported things that have to be cleaned up. Less likely but entirely possible is that nothing useful will happen at all and it'll white screen.

The fix was a bit harder than anticipated because we store the parent id as an int in the notify table so this had to be modified to char storage as well.
